Doolan Wagner Family Lawyers is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine La Cava, who has joined our firm in the position of Senior Associate.
Christine was admitted as a solicitor in 1988 and has worked exclusively in Family Law for the past fifteen years. During a successful initial period with the NSW Attorney General’s Department, Christine held roles in Local Courts throughout NSW including as Chamber Magistrate, Clerk of the Court, Registrar and Coroner.
Christine entered private practice in 1991 with a Northern Beaches firm. Christine joined Doolan Wagner & Callaghan in 2008 and then Doolan Callaghan Family Lawyers in Brookvale, where she established herself for almost ten years as a strong advocate for her large client base.
In 2009 Christine’s expertise and demonstrated proficiency was recognised by the Law Society of New South Wales when she was awarded accreditation as a specialist in Family Law.
Christine’s extensive experience, combined with her strong listening and communication skills and sensitive yet practical approach, will help make your family law experience as easy as a difficult situation can be.
Christine has special interests in:
- collaborative law and alternative dispute resolution,
- property and parenting matters which have an international aspect,
- complex parenting matters; and
- complex financial matters
For those matters that require Court intervention, Christine is experienced in the Court process having regularly appeared before Judges and Registrars in both the Family Court of Australia and Federal Circuit Court of Australia. Wherever possible Christine will aim to resolve your matter through a negotiated settlement.
