Patrick Idiare
Family Lawyer
Patrick holds a Bachelor of Laws/Arts (with Distinction) from UNSW with a major in history and minor in psychology. He was recently awarded his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law and admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW in 2025.
Before joining Doolan Wagner, Patrick worked as a paralegal at a top-tier Wills & Estates law firm where he regularly assisted in complex estate planning matters and family provision claims. As a result, he is well-positioned to understand and resolve complex family law property matters.
Since joining Doolan Wagner, Patrick has had considerable involvement in parenting matters ranging from those where there is a positive coparenting relationship to those characterised by allegations of domestic violence, abuse and coercive control. While he actively encourages parents to reach an amicable settlement outside of court, he recognises this is not always safe or appropriate and is ready to advocate for his clients should court proceedings be necessary.
