Senior Family Lawyer
Prue has practised as a Family Lawyer since graduating with a Bachelor of Law with Honours from Macquarie University in 2012.
Prue also holds a Master of Applied Law (Family Law) and a Bachelor of Business Administration and was placed on the Dean’s List for Academic Achievement whilst undertaking part of her studies in the United States.
As well as practicing as a Family Lawyer, Prue has undertaken work in country New South Wales as a general practitioner, working in conveyancing, crime and the care jurisdiction. This background of general practice provides Prue with the capacity to recognise and address some of the unique situations faced by her family law clients.
Prior to her time in country New South Wales Prue worked as a Research Officer for the Judicial Commission of New South Wales. Her experience with the Judicial Commission has enabled her to develop a keen eye for detail in applying the law.
Prue’s reputation for providing quality legal service is only complimented by her strength in advocacy. She is adept at presenting her client’s cases in both the Family Court and the Federal Circuit Court in the event that an out-of-court settlement is not possible.
In addition to her practice Prue has spent time undertaking volunteer work at Legal Aid, Macquarie Legal Centre and working with the New South Wales Aboriginal Legal Services.
Prue has a particular interest in seeking solutions for clients that are sustainable and tailor-made to their particular situation. Prue recognises that each family is unique and has its own priorities and challenges. With this in mind we are confident that you, as Prue’s client, will benefit from her warm and compassionate approach as she seeks to resolve your family law matter efficiently and cost effectively.
